[Rinku looks around excitedly with a sparkle. When Ishkode realizes, though, Rinku makes a concerned noise and shakes her head.]

I think we're in your head, Ishkode-kun. Or your heart. It's kinda both of those things. That's all I've been able to do.

[She bites her lip and makes a sad noise.]

Do you remember the New Year's concert?

In my head? The New Year's--!!

[ He cuts off, eyes suddenly going wide as he remembers. He immediately rushes over to her, grabbing her into a worried hug. ]

Ohmygod, Rinku, I saw the whole thing?! I don't know what the hell is going on but are you okay?! Well, no, I guess you're not, but what... can I help?!

[Rinku hugs him back tightly. She makes a worried noise and shakes her head slowly.]

I dunno. I'm worried about Davis-san. I think there's a part of him who's still alive. I don't know how to save him, or how to stop that other guy, but I'm looking for everything I can find. Right now I can't get back to my body, but I can go into other people for a while.

What's going on out there? I managed to find Neechan and she told me a little.

[ Ishkode frowns, more than a little concerned about his friend. He shakes his head. ]

It's... it's weird right now, honestly. I don't even really know what's going on?? Ever since all of that happened it's like some kind of a... I dunno... a music sickness is happening? People keep bursting into song like we're all in a big Broadway show now or something. Like you can't help it once it starts. It just happens, whether you want it to or not.

[ He frowns, deeply, eyes worried. ]

I know you're in the hospital. Evangeline is looking after you. And I dunno anything about the guy who did all this. It all happened so fast! I know there's people trying to figure it out but I'm just kinda trying to keep out of the way so far.

The music part sounds like something Davis-san would do for fun. That's one of his powers. But from what I heard from Neechan, the person who was controlling him and came out of him is the guy he got that power from... I think. He used both of us to get out and do whatever he's planning.

Are you okay?

[ He gives a low hum as he frowns. ]

Which means it's probably not something from here... so who knows if our Season powers can even help.

[ He mutters a curse in another language and then blinks and gives her a reassuring smile and a nod. ]

Yeah, I'm okay! I'm worried as heck about everybody, especially you. I dunno if there's anything I can do to help out. I met Mr Davis once but I don't, like, know him at all...

[Worried noises. Rinku pulls back and shakes her head.]

That's okay. I'm just glad you're doing all right. Are Neechan and Mary-chan and the Pokémon okay? I know Mary-chan gets a little... scary when bad things are happening. She's a good kid, really, and I've been trying, but she's really scared of losing us.

Evangeline is holding in there. And the Pokemon, too. They've got lots of us checking up on them while they're all keeping an eye on you, too. We'll make sure they're okay. I'm... afraid I don't know Mary, yet, so I'm not sure if she's been there. I haven't heard about anything really bad since things went weird, other than the singing and dancing, so I'm gonna guess she's okay? Maybe Evangeline talked to her?

I hope so... I know Neechan would take care of her. She'd never leave the kids alone without anyone watching over them.

[She takes in a deep breath and shakes her head.]

So if this is your heart, then is it your home?

There's people helping out, I promise. I'll go check for myself and make sure they're okay later.

[ He gives her a reassuring smile. Then blinks and looks around. ]

I... guess it's my heart? But yeah, it's definitely home.

[ His smile softens. ]

This is where I was happiest. Where I lived with my Gookomis and Miishomis. It's my homeland back in Canada. Beautiful, isn't it?

Yeah, it's amazing!

[Rinku lets go and spins, looking around excitedly.]

It sounds like it was a long time ago... But I'm really happy you had someplace nice.

It was, yeah. I haven't been there for... fifteen years now. Not since I was six. I miss it a lot, actually.

[ He blinks as he thinks of something. ]

Wait... if you're here right now, is there any way I can, like... help you get back into your body from here?! I don't really know what I'm doing but they said your soul was just kind of... taken away?

I dunno. I don't know a lot, actually.

[Rinku frowns and rubs her chin.]

But I'm trying to find a way back, and I'm also trying to find my way to Davis-san's heart. I mean, if that guy possessed him and... absorbed-slash-ate him? Something? Then he's gotta be there, and there's gotta be a way to stop him!
