Aaniin.
If you're looking for Ishkode, you found him. Lemme know who you are and what you're after and I'll get back to you later.

Donnie said you were interested in proper combat training?
Also said you were a mutant turtle too. Is mutant offensive to you? Donnie and his brothers weren't, but it feels like one of those very personal feeling labels.
Anyway, I'm also in the scientifically enhanced individual camp. Been in the army for the better part of two decades and dealing with insanity for almost as long, trained both soldiers and civilians so I don't have to be nightmare drill sergeant if you don't learn well with that.

Yeah, Donnie was talking about how it not only helps with maybe taking on some of the threats around here but can also help with the powers we've been given? And even the possibility of latent ones I might have from being mutated. So I'm hoping to find ways to delve into that without blowing myself or anybody else up.
And mutant is perfectly fine for me. It is what it is kinda thing.
Is there somewhere you do your training at? Specific classes or groups or anything like that?
Re: UN: FireStarter
But the focus and routine can help with any kind of training. Including the powers here. Part of what I try to teach is keeping your head on straight regardless of what you're feeling and that can help with having the emotions for the seasonal powers without losing it.
You don't have to worry about blowing me up though. I have definitely taken worse and got back up again.
Got it. Just wanted to check.
Yeah, Donnie has a whole danger room set up at the Birdtile home. I haven't started any groups. Maybe I should, but that's for later. Either way, its better to start one on one, then I can judge what you can and can't physically take. Its important to be very aware of that with world differences.

That's good to know. I've taken out mutant guys way bigger than me, before, let alone when I've faced off against regular human guys, so if you can take big hits, it should be fine.
Yeah, Donnie mentioned that! I'd be glad to meet up there sometime and you can put me through the paces?

Most of my fighting tech is the stuff in my body. It let's me use power armor without breaking all my bones. Really, stab, shoot, explode is pretty effective at killing most things as long as you can make it stabby, shooty, and explodey enough.
I've been run over by several cars and gotten up again. So long as you're not hitting harder than a car at speed, we're all good.
Sure. He's already got you marked for the system, so you can come over today if you want.

The fact that it's 'several' is both horrifying and also amazing. Sounds like you've seen some pretty hardcore stuff.
Awesome! Send me the address and I'll get myself there. Thanks! I appreciate it.

Using your environment is a good skill to have. Shows you have good awareness. And I can show you how to use knives and guns. Sometimes guns is also finding the one that suits you. I can use a sniper rifle, but I'm a way better shot with a mid-range gun. I could probably make the sniper shot better with a rifle than the sniper itself.
I wanna say I was in an intergalatic war, but the cars are largely unrelated to that. They just don't like me, only time I've safe from them is when I'm riding in them. Been run over plenty, but never an actual car accident.
My luck is stupid. Not good, not bad, just very, very stupid. You will have to try to find something that sounds weird to me.
[PING! Address get.]

Woah... unrelated to the car thing or not, intergalactic war counts as pretty damned hardcore. Yikes. I'm starting to get why people around here don't seem to think mutants are all that strange or scary, even. Everybody I've been meeting has seen and been through WAY worse than a giant walking, talking turtle.
Cool. Might take me a minute, since I'm still learning my way around, but I'll be there soon.
[EVENTUALLY IN PERSON]
When Ishkode gets to the address in question he's gotta double check it about three times. THIS is the place?! Is it a freaking mansion?! He's not sure what he was expecting but this wasn't exactly it, either!
When he gets to the main gate he gives what he's guessing is the security system a wave (feeling a little silly as he does). Wash said Donnie had done something to clear him for a visit but now he can see WHY. Wow.
"Uh, hey! I'm Ishkode and I'm here to meet up with Wash? For training?"

It was a lot and yet, all the strangeness I'm used to came after that. Funny how some things work out. [Thankfully he was used to the strange because ngl, mutant turtles look like Sangheili mixed with a big of human and he might have been a heart attack earlier on.]
See you soon.
At least Ishkode won't have to wait long. Wash figured he would wait by the gate, walking some of the cats. He knows better than to let them run around FREELY, but he's trained them to keep close and he can let them run around and enjoy the outdoors.
When Ishkode calls out, the gates open on their own. Donnie knows how to program his system and as the doors open, Wash is walking to the main path, pulling out a packet of treats. "Hey, welcome," he said and whistles, holding up the treats when the cats look over.
They rush over, taking the treats as he hands them out and pulls out a toy on a stick to lead them back to the house. "This way," he said, gesturing to the house and started to walk with the cats trailing along behind him, jumping after the toy.
He's a brickhouse of a guy. He's got a lot of grey in the blonde hair, though he doesn't seem that old, depending how well Raph can judge human ages. Grey blue eyes, a number of scars. Some nasty ones on the back of his neck, though its mostly covered by the hoody. Which looks like this.

The hoodie and the gaggle of cats that are following along with him give a very different idea. Ishkode finds he can't help but smile at it. He follows along, looking around as he does.
"Thanks! Man, this place is incredible... wow. I wasn't really thinking about what to expect but somehow a mansion wasn't anywhere in the possibilities." he says in open appreciation, then gives Wash a grin. "I love the shirt, by the way."

How well Ishkode can judge ages, you can tell I was talking to multiple turtles at once, oi"A lot of us are pretty good at quests and Donnie has some pretty high buyers for his work," Wash said. Some of which he knows is very illegal, but its not danger territory, so he just keeps an eye out for Donnie not getting in over his head. "And most of us have day jobs, so it makes for a pretty penny. And we prefer to have the space. Been a looooong time since a lot of us get to enjoy a lot of space for ourselves."
"Thank you. I saw it and knew I had to have it. It absolutely delighted Choco so a win in my book," he said, stepping to the front door of the house and holding it open for Ishkode. A lot of very warm colors and plenty of space for movement.
